Note: Most major urban newspapers cover their respective metro area and their state overall (e.g. Washington Post: Education and Los Angeles Times: Education), and you probably already visit those outlets frequently. There are also many regional educational organizations charged with connecting rural communities. Just do an internet search for “regional education news” and add your region/state/locality.
