National Center for Education Statistics – the primary source for education data in America

Federal Education Budget Project – hosted by New America Foundation, it’s a great, fast-access resource for most requested data points

Annie E. Casey Foundation – state-by-state data related to kids in general, particularly those in poverty or at-risk households

Education Policy Data Center – free global education data

WorldBank: Education Data – international education data within the context of the WorldBank financial mission

Ed-Data: K-12 – data on California primary education (most states have their own, which are sometimes run out of Universities)

International Educational Data Mining Society: a group that tries to redefine the way we interpret education data

Data.gov: Education – the federal government’s landing page for education data
